This article considers the organization of mobility in very small businesses (VSB). The multiplicity of organizational configurations observed in these firms sheds light on the issue of mobility and especially on uses of ICTs in this type of context. The authors thus illustrate the diversity of situations of mobility encountered in VSBs and distinguish four types of mobility that seem to have a strong influence on the ways in which these organizations are structured. These four types of mobility are then used to show how expectations and needs regarding ICT vary.
