By Thierry Garrot, Maria Psillaki, Sylvie RochhiaEnglish
Based on a study of four European universities, this article analyses the implications of e-learning projects from the point of view of the training offer as well as that of the universities' management of these activities. The data collected over the period from 2004 to 2006 were used to build eleven indicators on the uses of information and communication technologies (ICT), the characteristics of e-learning activities, and various aspects of the management of ICT in universities. This study furthers our understanding of how these universities have integrated ICT into their activities, and of the changes in e-learning trajectories since 2004.
