Web series are inspired by the videoblog and shatter the impersonal narratological model with an audiovisual account in the first person. The comparative analysis of the series Lonely Girl 15 (Mesh Flinders, Miles Beckett and Greg Goodfried, 2006-2008), The Guild (Felicia Day, 2007-2013), Norman fait des vidéos (Norman Thavaud, 2010) and Solange te parle (Ina Mihalache, 2011) reveal forms of this narrative adapted to the videoblog, along with the ambiguous relationship to fiction that these series construct through the presence of their creators on social networks. In this experience of transmedia visioning, fiction and non-fiction combine and open up access, for internet user-spectators, to a culture of participation in which they appear to be counterparts of the creator.
