Corporate management is the work of a management collective organized by means of tools, methods and procedures. An interview survey in 2004-2005 on thirty managers reveals noteworthy trends over the past ten years, from the point of view of organization of the management collective and of the instruments equipping it. As regards the morphology of this collective, we are witnessing a fragmentation of local management that is leading to the rise of steering by standards and the proliferation of project groups. The main development in management instruments and tools is related to computerization.
